NPTU March Monthly Meeting "Winter Fly Fishing" by Paul Dinice

Sorry, the NPTU March chapter meeting has been CANCELLED, again(!), due to inclement weather. Paul Dinice will be rescheduled for another meeting.

Naugatuck-Pomperaug Trout Unlimited will hold its monthly chapter meeting on Wednesday March 7th at the ION Bank Community Center Building, 270 Church St., Naugatuck. Meetings run from 7 - 9 p.m, doors open at 6:30 for pizza, refreshments, and a raffle. Meetings are free and open to the public.

Our guest speaker this month will be Paul Dinice, who will give a presentation on the preparation and techniques of "Winter Fly Fishing". Paul is a member of the Housatonic Fly Fishermen’s Association and has written numerous articles for newspapers, local club newsletters and Fly Tyer Magazine.  The meeting was cancelled last month due to weather so Paul graciously moved his presentation to the March meeting.

Also, from November through March, on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th (& sometimes 5th) Wednesdays of the month, Naugatuck-Pomperaug Trout Unlimited, holds Fly Tying Workshops at the Stop and Shop community room, 100 Main St. S., Southbury, from 6:45 to 9:00 p.m. Classes are free and open to the public. Beginners welcome and you can start any time. Tools and materials available to use.
